Come also join us Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM, with Father Larry and Brother Gregory, for evening prayer, healing and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
OUR COMMUNITY
As a New Catholic Community, we are members of the Holy Catholic and Apostolic family of churches. Our community is committed to working together for the unity of the Easter and the Western churches. Our past Archbishop, Metropolitan Nicholas, with whom we were in union, before his passing in 2008 was dedicated to working for this unity. Before Metropolitan Nicholas died, he conferred upon Bishop John Joseph Reid, the holy office of Archbishop. Bishop John Joseph Reid, Fr. Lawrence Turner and Brother Gregory Marciszewski continue to keep Archbishop Metropolitan Nicholas' dream alive.
OUR MISSION
Our part in doing God's work in the world is ministering to the sick and infirmed at three elderly care assisted living facilities. We visit the elderly and sick, those who have been abandoned, pray with them and when needed we provide last rites. We also baptize children/adults, officiate at weddings (locations of your choice) and bless holy unions. We also officiate at funerals and memorials services as well as provide spiritual support to those in 12 step programs.
Lastly, we feed the homeless and provide spiritual comfort to the homeless living on the streets of Fort Lauderdale, FL. You are invited to join us on Mondays and Tuesdays by helping to prepare food each Monday evening and/or directly serving the poor on Tuesdays.. Contact us at 954-567-1930 to donate cookie packs, bananas, water bottles, socks, t-shirts and we are also in need of men and women's clothing.

July 2008 We are seeing a dramatic growth in our Feed the Homeless Progam. Every Thursday we are feeding up to 70 people, an increase from 160 to 240 in a month. . With more volunteers coming forward we are contemplating expanding the program to twice a week. Meanwhile on the homefront we have undertaken a "Build Church" program to increase our attendance with the future goal of obtaining bigger space in order to accomodate more members. April 2008 A typical month for our community, April of 2008, we saw three baptisms, one wedding, one memorial service, three last rites, four sick calls, and an increase from 20 to 40 in our food-on-the-streets homeless ministry. We served approximately 160 meals in the month.
Homeless Thanksgiving We send out thanks to the many volunteers who joined us with donations, their time and hands-on food delivery. Many thanks for the socks, shoes, and clothing. At one time, Thanksgiving came only once a year, but now, thanks to you, our supporters, we now bring Thanksgiving each week, each and every Thursday to the homeless of our community.
Miracles Recently, we saw four people come back to God after having been away from their faith for a long time. They are seeing the love of God in action. In one situation, we prayed with the residents of one of the assisted living facilities for a woman whose son for many years, in anger, walked away from her. Just this last week this son reappeared and out of nowhere looking for his mother and healing has begun to take place. Miracles are happening! There is so much going on, little miracles in all our lives. We really understand now the depth of God's love for us.
